As families and individuals enter the program, WCCA facilitates an assessment of their strengths and needs to determine how best to help. Our staff members work with clients to develop a mutually agreed upon housing independence plan that involves creating and carrying out short and long term goals for financial stability. Participants enter into a lease and pay a pro-rata amount of their income for housing. WCCA provides a limited rent cost share and supportive services for up to 18 months. As families overcome the immediate burden of homelessness, they work to achieve the skills necessary to reach their goals.
