You & Your Child. Healthy & Well Fed. WIC Can Help

Women, Infants and Children

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is a federally-funded health and nutrition education program that provides vouchers for supplemental food to promote good health for pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants, and children up to age five. WIC participants receive one-on-one nutrition assessment, counseling, breastfeeding information and support and referrals to health care or other needed community services at no cost.

WIC provides healthy foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables, milk, whole grains, infant foods and formula, iron fortified cereals, 100% juice and more.

WCCA conducts WIC clinics on a monthly basis in the communities of Buffalo, Howard Lake and Monticello.
