Ride along with Trailblazer Transit staff, delivering frozen meals to our valuable Seniors in Wright County. Sign up for a one-time volunteer slot, or as many times as you like. WCCA continues to serve home delivered meals in Wright County, through December 2020. You can make a difference and keep seniors safe.
Being a volunteer driver, allows you to volunteer when you are available. Using your own vehicle, transport older adults without transportation to important destinations and be reimbursed $.575/mile for each mile you drive. Your assistance helps older adults without transportation get to medical appointments, shop for groceries, keep personal care appointments, and remain independent in their homes. Reduce isolation and promote independence for our Wright County elders by joining the Aging Alliance Drive Team today!
The Aging Alliance needs Volunteers for doing household improvement projects. If you’re handy, join us as a Handy Person! We are also looking for individuals to mow lawns and shovel snow. Volunteers are needed for one time and ongoing projects. If you or your group would like to volunteer, there are many different needs throughout the year. Register your club, youth group, or organization, for a volunteer outing by contacting our Aging Alliance Program Manager at (320) 963-6500 x 283.
When you assist a WCCA older adult client, you can help reduce falls, improve quality of life, and provide older adults with a safer, healthier home environment.
