In some households, the meals that kids eat in school are some of the only meals they eat. The Backpack Program works to solve this problem by providing parcels full of nutritious, easy to open food for kids to take home over the weekend.
The Backpack Program works with our Head Start Centers, and in some cases area schools, to fight hunger among children in Wright County.
